SPUN was launched in 2014 by partnering with local craftswomen from Bhuj, India. They intend to reinvent traditional patterns by creating handmade artisanal items.
They specialise in hand embroidery, sustainable home textile products, natual dyes and block print.
Up till now, they have established 8 centres and trained 2215 women.
Through the artisans’ efforts, they have impacted the lives of nearly 8860 people across the region and have seen them earning more than Rs 27 million (approx. US$ 345,000) collectively.
Their key buyers are IKEA Sweden, Christy UK, TESCO, KHOLES.
